All applicants must submit two work samples with their application. Work samples should demonstrate the applicant’s capacity to execute their proposed residency project.
Depending on the applicant’s background and the nature of their proposed project, work samples may include:
- A portion of a book chapter or journal article where the applicant is the primary author
- A selection from a play (note: video representations of a produced work may be included as a link in the PDF and should not exceed five minutes or include a specified time code for the five-minute selection to be reviewed)
- Summaries of past projects
- Poems
- Images with corresponding image list
- Musical scores with accompanying audio files
- Video samples
Work samples:
- Must be reflective of the work you are proposing for the residency.
- Must be no more than five years old.
- For video or audio links, must be no more than five minutes in length or include a specified time code for the five-minute selection to be reviewed.
Forthcoming publications or productions do not meet this requirement.
Upload a single PDF:
- Upload a single PDF that includes both work samples and descriptions.
- PDF should be no more than five pages total and should not exceed 10MB.
